my childs nursery's fees will go down in september due to govt grant subsidies but if he goes to a nursery attached to a primary school will it be free and what are the hours?

thanks

yes, it's free (as long as you aren't claiming nursery grant for another setting). Hours at state schools are usually 2.5 per day every weekday in either a morning or afternoon session.

great so it's the same as the private nursery, but we just pay the difference for extra hours!

i've left it too late to apply for school nurseries anyway so mild panic over! phew...

thanks totalchaos!
