My daughter is in part-time Montessori daycare. It's a long story but we didn't really explore the approach before we enrolled as it was supposed to be a short-term thing initially.
Anyhow my 2.5 year old loves it but I wonder if she's being stimulated enough. One of the workers told me that she was able to do all the puzzles very quickly and it turned out they were just wooden puzzles that you insert little blocks into. At home she does 12-20 piece puzzles that were given as a gift. She is also mad about letters and numbers, for example pointing out L-drivers and other letters on vans. She has picked this up herself (cbeebies?) but doesn't seem to any numbers or letters at nursery.
Her speech is very good but in all other ways I think she's a normal little girl.
While I love the nursery for its caring attitude, would you say something about perhaps stimulating her a bit more or just leave it to the experts?
Advice most welcome.
