I'm looking for a recommendation for an appropriate dishwasher for a pre-school?

Have been thinking of an industrial one - but am concerned that plastic cups would melt / be swished all over the place in the machine

?

I would imagine that a commercial one would be very expensive - just guessing, though.

What would you want it to do? One or two loads of plates and cups once or twice a day? I'm sure a domestic one would be just fine, in that case. Maybe one with a quick wash cycle. Commercial ones are designed to wash dozens and dozens of loads per day - I wouldn't have thought you'd need that.

The parent helpers are the dishwashers and cleaners! [grin}

...yep scarletlilybug - am trying to be convinced that spending 2/3rds more than a regular dishwasher on dishwashing is worth it

it's plastic cups for 40 kids twice a day and plates for 40 kids + 8 staff plates and mugs once a day

...hohum
