What is the protocol for xmas gift giving for nursery carers?

My 10mo DD is at nursery full time while we work. She loves it & the women who work there are lovely. I was planning to get the women who work with her most closely every day a small gift & then get a large tin of Quality Street for the rest of the nursery. Does this sound ok or am I at risk of offending other people who work there by not getting them a gift too? Please help!

When DS was at nursery I got his key worker a nice present and choccies to share for all the other women. I think that the usual thing to do so you'll be fine!

I gave one Christmas card to her "class" and had not even thought about presents. Is that wrong? DD is fickle with affection and I couldn't single out one helper as more deserving. Do I need to do a panic trip to waitrose for chocolates?!?
