My ds was 3 last month. He started day nursery when he was 6 months old and left in Oct this year as i'm no longer working.
Being a sahm is fantastic and he's loving being at home with me.
My dilemma is, do i try for a place for Jan when his funding starts or wait until a place becomes available at out local schools nursery (which his name is down for). The school place may not become available until September next year, but would it be so bad for him to spend this time with me

If you're enjoying being at home why not?

my ds has just started pre-school for the yr before school and has settled in fantastically and loves it.

We did go to a couple of mums and tots groups that meant he could mix with other chdn in the meantime.

If he's happy at home with you and you don't have to send him to some form of child care for practical reasons then... well, it ain't broke, is it? I think you should just concentrate on having a lovely lovely time together
