And our new Treasurer is ill and cant go to the council meeting, our old Treasurer is very uncooperative and has not passed on all her files (new Treasurer does NOT have the audited accts), our Chairman is in London and guess who's left to face the music.
MOI! as i'm the secretary and i don't have a clue about the financial side of things.
Will they eat me alive? Can they be delayed until Treasurer is well again? Help!

Why don't you just give them a call and sort out an alternative date for them to come?

I'm pretty sure they'd wait.

Good luck

Hey! you shouldn't need to have audited accounts. Has an accountant had a look at any of it, either the balance sheet or the purchase and sales books?

Panic over, had a word with the old Treasurer and she said they are not audited as turnover is under £20,000 anyway. Told you i don't know anything about accounts.
Anyway, we will defer until our new Treasurer is better.
