Oh I was going to start a thread on exactly the same thing.

I will watch with interest but no whip round in DS's pre-school. Everybody bought separate pressies at Christmas.

watching with interest as ds's teacher at preschool is fantastic

we moved from antoher region of the country, so i did bottles of wine from DD1's native area.

then some local goodies - a local craft person tie-dyes cute totebags for £3.99, so i got those and put in some stuff from around the area: some goodies from a local soap maker and candle and then DD1 and i made some truffles and shortbread.

All the leavers get together and give a bouquet and vouchers to each staff member plus a card with photos of them all.
