I am thinking of sending my 3 year old to a forest preschool 2 days per week. He is in a regular nursery 2 days, but now need some additional childcare. I have found a forest preschool nearby which is based on the premises of a national trust site, so the setting is fab. Thinking of sending him 2 days, so splitting his time between his current nursery and forest school. I've had an initial chat with the staff and was really impressed.
I absolutely love the idea of it and my son loves the outdoors.
Would love to hear any experiences of forest preschool! Mostly I think he's love it, but wondering about the reality of sending him to the forest all day in the middle of winter?!
