Any phonics and reading afterschool clubs or summer camps in London?

I do not know how to teach phonics and sound blending, so I need a club or summer camp to help getting my 3.5 year-old up to speed. The nursery is not academic and still playing all the time. My child only knows single-letter sounds and cannot read CVC words yet.

I see summer programs like

Aware of anything similar in SW or W London?

@javaprogrammer lol correct. But they are not CVC words! They are CCVC and CVCC words.
Perhaps this is why you should leave the phonics teaching to the teachers! lol

CVC means consonant vowel consonant such as cat, pip, dog, wig, mug.
The consonant digraphs are not taught until the end of the first term in Reception and vowel digraphs are usually introduced at the beginning of the spring term. This is why they do not appear in the 4+ assessments because the children are still in nursery/preschool.

This actually isn’t correct. CVC refers to vowel and consonant sounds, not letters.

shop is a CVC word - sh/o/p (sh is a consonant sound not a blend)
church is a CVC word (ch/ur/ch)
rain is a CVC word (r/ai/n)

Silk on the other hand isn’t, as it’s 4 sounds (s/i/l/k - CVCC)

@modgepodge I stand corrected! Thank you.
But rest assured, there will be no digraphs of any variety in the 4+ assessments.
