Committee for my sons pre school - ideas for fundraising please

Would love some different ideas for fundraising please. My sons pre school is committee run so it has to have a committee in order to continue and stay open. This will also be my daughter’s pre school when that time comes. I have volunteered to be the committee’s fundraiser to come up with ways to bring in some money. I have the basics in mind, raffles, cakes sales, a local lottery but would love some more ideas, especially ones that are a bit different to the usual.

I love planning and organising, I live for things like this so I am up for a challenge!

thank you in advance ☺️ x

Send an honest email to parents and previous parents and ask for money. I'd pay £50 a year to not do any of the fundraising/PTA crap.

My daughter fundraised by buying a diary, getting people pay £1 for a selected date (ie 29 June then you write their name on that date but keep a list as well, we found it easier). Then once all dates sold, there was a draw, the person who had that date won half the money and the other half went to the fundraising. It was 2024 so £183 for both winner and fundraiser

A 100 club
40 + places a month @£5 (creates £200)
1 place drawn per month wins £100.
The club keeps the other £100.

Play with the figures to suit.
You could have second & third prizes too.

Speak to local supermarkets and shops about donations. Tesco do the blue token scheme if you have a big tesco nearby, we got a significant amount from that.

Summer/Christmas fete with tombola using goods brought in after a "dress up for a bottle" day, as long as you have a place to store all the bottles! For previous fetes we've rented out tables to local crafters and businesses to sell their wares.
