I know at the moment it is 12.5hrs over 5 sessions for 38/39 weeks. Am I right in thinking it is going up to 15 hrs from Sept? Does anyone know what the monetary equivalent is?

I have googled, but can't find anything, so wondered if the MN collective could help

Yes it will be 15 hours from September, but I think the monetary equivalent is different in different LEA's. Not much I think though.
FYI it's £6.75 per 2 1/2hr session here in County Durham.

It depends on the county. The 15 hours does not have to be in place until 2010.

Ta for that. I wish there was a definitive place I could look for info like this. You would think there was one wouldn't you?
I recall it was £7.50 a couple of years ago in my area (SE). I shall try my LEA website again

If you are trying to offset against day nursery fees then our nursery charges for the hours above - so it's not done on a 'rate'... the nursery should be able to tell you what their fees will be in september with the new grant - I've given up trying to work out how ours charge and how much I owe them
