Temporary Alcohol licence for Summer Fair

Does anyone know which licence I need to apply for in order to sell alcohol at a one off event? thanks.

Phone the council and ask? Think it costs around £20 where I am

We don't bother with an alcohol licence at our summer fund-raiser. We give people a glass of wine or beer and demand request a donation of £1 per drink.

Much easier than all that pesky paperwork.
