Hello,
so my daughter is finishing preschool in July and honestly the staff have been amazing, previously I’ve joined in a group initiative to get gifts but I’d like to buy something more personal for the x2 teachers and x2 assistants, the teachers are around 50 years old & assistants in 20s. What would you like to receive? I was thinking soemthing like a Jo Malone candle. Any advice would be appreciated! X

Home made card from the children

Vouchers are appreciated

Definitely no home made food. I know very few of us that eat it, it gets fed to the local wildlife or binned.

Definitely wine and chocolate for me!
Nothing that will sit around collecting dust, so food/drink stuff is always great.

Maybe find out what she likes. DS is in year 5 now and on his teachers birthday they all walked to the local shop on the way to school and bought her a huge box of red bulls. I didnt even know about it until she mentioned how touched she was at the yearly parent teacher session. Apparently the kids noticed she always has a red bull with her in the morning 😄 She thought it was very sweet they got her something and especially that they noticed her taste.

No mugs/keyrings/teddies. Sadly I can’t enjoy wine or chocolate 😥
I loathe spa days.
would enjoy a book token, John lewis voucher or garden voucher.

Presents not expected, but vouchers or nice stationery are always well-received. I wouldn't recommend wine - they might not drink, or might not drink wine.

I gave my kid's teacher a card with a small note and a gift card from https://giftcardmall.org, and she seemed really happy with it. She said it gave her the freedom to pick whatever she actually needed or liked. I wasn’t sure what to get her and didn’t want to buy something that might end up sitting unused, so it felt like a safe but thoughtful option.
