Elstree/ Radlett/ Bushey Private nursery or pre school at a private school

Can you please help me, I would really appreciate your support if you have any experience or you know someone who went to those pre-schools/schools. Would you enroll your DS at a private nursery or at a nursery school like St Margaret at Bushey, Edge Grove pre school, Aldenham, Haberdashers? They seem to have spaces where every good private nursery has a waiting list of a year to two? Why is that ?

I’d guess this is because the cohort joined the private nursery as babies and they haven’t had many children leave to free up any spaces as they move up classes. Individuals who will be using state education are less likely to pull their happy child out of a nursery setting at 3 years old where they have friends etc to attend a preschool at a private school just for one year. Whereas many of those joining the preschool attached to the private school will be intending to continue.
