Pre prep or feeder nurseries in St Albans for STAHS

Hello, my LO is going to apply for 4+ entry to STAHS, we’re moving to St Albans but can’t find any information about feeder nurseries/ pre prep. Seems to be choices in London for Habs and NCLS feeders but having difficulty finding equivalents in St Albans. Ideally from age 2. Thanks so much

Mount Carmel, Grasshoppers, and St Saviours send quite a few kids to STAHS, but the school take kids from loads of different nurseries, so you're better going for one that you get a good feel for!

Don’t think it matters at all. It’s based on the outskirts of wheathamstead rather than St Albans so kids come from a wide area and a range of nurseries.

My daughter is in Stahs in reception and in her class a lot of girls are from St Hildas harpenden I think. 5/18 but all the others seem to be from different nurseries including my own who comes from a London one and no other child from her nursery. Not sure it matters which one. They do look at academic acumen so it’s the assessment prep that counts. I guess find a nursery which will be most nurturing for your little one!

Thank you so much, can I ask which one your daughter went to in London as we are based in north London too and are just choosing and visiting nurseries at the moment. Is your daughter enjoying reception?
