Hi beloved community, We are exploring preschool options for our little one with the aim to start in September 2025 when he turns 3. Could anyone share feedback for the St Johns wood pre-preparatory school? Any other suggestions closer to Marylebone ? We will also apply to SRG. Many thanks!!

Arnold house? Though you're likely too late to apply

There’s LJS Nursery, though I think it’s more a nursery than pre-prep: https://www.ljs.org/nursery.html

Are you after somewhere that is preparing your child for 4+ or (worse still) 7+ assessments to get into a private primary? Or are you after a more normal nursery before your child starts at state primary? If the latter, see if there are nurseries attached to the primaries you would be looking at. If the former, possibly too far away but both Mulberry House in West Hampstead and Hampstead Hill School prep for private school entry tests and get great results. Also worth looking at the private schools that have their own nursery, eg UCS if you have a boy, Devonshire House for either.

FYI, UCS no longer have a nursery.

Thank you! looking for private primary. Would prefer co-educational so that narrows down the options from what I understand.

I have also heard good things about Saint Christina's. There's also The American School in London which is co-ed, private and based in NW8.
