Where is the best source of information to look up good private pre-schools in the Central, North, East London area?

I am trying to find out which books or web sites people have used to find out which private pre-schools are good in London and how to get more information on registering for them. All information useful.

I looked at www.isi.net which is where you can look at independant schools' reports (but only seem to be done every 7 years or so, so can be out of date).I'm not in London, so can't help further there. I have also searched for schools on school-search.co.uk, where you can ask for lists of independant schools within a certain area from your postcode, and then google them, and ask for prospectuses etc direct on schools' websites. It seems to be a long and painstaking process, which I have only just started ready for entry in 2010, and think I will still be wading through it all then!!
