Independent schools in Epsom

Hi everybody,

We are moving to epsom soon and my 4 year old son starts school in september. Any suggestions regarding good independent schools in Epsom area.

City of London Freemens in Ashtead is good, can't remember if it starts at age 4 or 7 sorry.

St Johns - Leatherhead
Epsom College - Epsom
Downsend Lodge

These are all from memory when i was at school in Ashtead.

And Ewell Castle. Oliver Reed went there but don't let that put you off. My ex went their and after his father died they waived his fees for the rest of his education. So I like them!

Most of my friends went to Ewell, Epsom College or St Johns, Leatherhead and all did fairly well. Admittedly this is 20 years ago so I've no idea if their standards are still the same.

It would be worth visiting them all and going on a waiting list, even if they are 'full' it may be that not all the places are actually taken up come September.
