End of term present

Just wanted to ask whether it is a usual thing to do to give a teacher and an assistant some little present at the end of the term? My dd is finishing nursery next week and I was wondering what would be appropriate. How much does one spend on a present? Are flowers an option? Wine? DD has only been there for 2 months but we and she loved it.
I'd like to thank them. What are you getting?

I find the best present is a gift card for Starbucks or Costa etc. Pretty much everyone will go and enjoy a free drink over the summer holidays. It has a long expiry date and it doesn’t take up any room, unlike flowers or treats. Even a fiver is enough to treat someone to a cuppa.

The best present is an email to their boss (with them cced) saying thank you and detailing what they have done that you have appreciated. A picture from dd would be lovely too. Nothing more is needed. If your dd really wants to give a present. A small box of malteasers or the like would be more than enough. Save your money for your own family.

This. If you feel you need to do something then donate a box of tea bags or big jar of coffee.

I'm doing small gift bags x 2, one for ds' key worker and another for another member of staff who ds just really took a shine to. The contents:

Bag 1
Reusable coffee cup

Bag 2
Tea light holder and tea light
Small artificial flower in glass pot

Both bags
Face mask
Handmade card from ds
Seed tins

I also got a box of malteasers for the manager and a shop bought thank you card for the whole team.
