How much notice for a pre school inspection?

OFSTED turned up this morning, the supervisor thought they gave notice of visits but having trawled the OFSTED website I can't find anything to enlighten me. Apparently they are coming back tomorrow, I am the chair, will they want to speak to me?
This makes me sound very niave but having done the job for a year I am still constantly discovering stuff I am responsible for, why doesn't someone write an instruction book for this job?

No notice at all, no. Ours just turned up unannounced. First day spent observing staff with children, toys, activities, routines etc, 2nd day quizzing leader and chair- AT LENGTH.

Joy! Yes I had found the no notice on the website in the end. Are they planning to tell me they need to speak to me as I would not normally be there tomorrow!

Yes they can show up whenever - especially if there has been a complaint.
