Morning!

Can anyone help with recommendations for a nursery or pre school in Saltash. We’re moving to the area in December. My daughter will almost be 3 so leaning towards a pre-school so that she can hopefully join the primary school too, minimising disruption, any thoughts on St Stephens? I thought it was hard enough Choosing her nursery when I lived in the same place!

Thanks in advance,

I went to st Stephens very many years ago! I think it's generally a good school, my friends children go there and they get on well, I get the impression that the head is quite strict, not necessarily a bad thing. There is a nursery with pre school next door and again not heard any bad reports. Saltash is pretty small, you may not find many people on here that know it!

Cooper Trees- it is in an odd location- near Waitrose, but has been excellent for both of my children.

Hi everyone, we live in Bucks and conflicted between sending our lo to an independent school in the area - Griffin House / Godstowe or the likes of Great Kimble CoFe School , Bledlow Ridge school. We can pay for independent schools but with Covid we are not able to do any school visits and understand the individual school environments.
One or two parents have vouched that the above mentioned State Schools are better then private. But I have no clue.
Our expectations from a school are,
Good behaviour & discipline
Calmness
Academics
Hope this info would suffice. Can anyone please help us.
