Hi all, slight long-shot but does anyone have any experience of Heath amount School or Duncombe School? Torn between the two for my nearly 3 year old.

Any kind feedback would be great.

Thanks

Have experience of both. Both are nice for the pre-school. HM has a lot nicer setting, lots of land where kids can play, so it would be my preference. Duncombe has a nightmare parking (very tiny) and people sit in queues for at least 30 mins prior to the gates opening. HM does not have this problem.

For school - I personally would not have chosen any of them. If you want a nice environment with a lot of sport and excellent art - then go for HM. In my opinion none of these schools are good at teaching academic subjects, so if you are thinking of sending your child to a more academic / top 50 senior school you would need to tutor DC for entrance exams. In years 4-7 the day is very long, finishes at 4:30-5pm.
Duncombe is a town school with little space, feels very crowded. On a positive side - it is less expensive than HM. Both have wrap around care. It's best for you to visit both schools to get a feel for them.
