dd just fell over in playground on first day at pre-school

and oh i feel awful. pre-school excellent though got accident book and cold compress. she's got big lump on forehead adn a graze, and grazed hands and knees. one of the older boys just ran straight into her. he did say sorry and his mum was really nice but i ended up crying all over the place. what a wimp. dd seems to have settled and they're going to check her every 15mins.

But it's something to celebrate. She was having a great time running around, got her first school bumped head and grazed knee, super cool, with many more to follow, school been great, sounds like a fab first day to me

It happens, and what is important is how they deal with it. Sounds like they have been very good with her.
But sympathies, because is always sad when this happens the first time. After a while... accident book just another formality before picking your child up at the end of the session.
