Can my dd go to 2 preschool ? 1 am session in one and 1 pm session in another one ?

I'm pretty desperate to sort it out my childcare, she was supposed to go to a playgroup in the afternoon but it appears they cant take her full time....Has anyone did the same as me ?

I know someone whose DD goes to one pre-school for two days a week, and another, in a completely different town, for another day a week, so I'm sure it's perfectyl feasible.

Well in her case that will be 8...as it's going to be 4 days a week

I think it depends on the policy of the pre-school though. The pre-school attached to my old school would only offer 5 sessions or nothing.

You can do as many sessions as you want, but will get pre-school funding for 5 x 2.5hour sessions, termtime only (from the term after their 3rd birthday) HTH

my Ds went to 2 playgroups - not on the same day though.

If there is space in both and you think she will cope then no problem.

However, playgroups aren't childcare as such - they are a play environment for the kids - but not if they are ill etc.

You get 5 funded sessions per week in most places (2.5 hours each I think) when they are over 3. I don't think there is a limit to the total number of sessions they can do - that is up to the individual playgroup - but you have to pay for the rest.
