Walnut Tree Walk Primary School Lambeth London

I was wondering whether anyone’s kids attended this school? If so, what’s it like? I’ve heard that it was quite rough a few years ago but that the recent head has made lots of great changes. Lots of art and music and play while learning. While this is great for younger years, how does this work out for older kids preparing for secondary school? Also, is there any trouble with bullying?

Archbishop Sumner is supposed to be better, but I haven’t heard anything terrible about Walnut Tree Walk.

Have you looked at the Ofsted reports? Archbishop Sumner consistently gets outstanding, and is more in demand, but we had friends whose kids went to Walnut Tree Walk who were very happy with it. I would try and visit both and see which “feels” the better fit for your child.

Oh that's good to hear that your friends kids were happy with it. It's hard to know what to expect from walnut tree as it sounds like their approach to things is all very new. I'm creasing class sizes etc. So I'm trying to get a feel for what current parents think of it.
