Nursery advice in Edgware/Mill Hill

Hi all and Happy New Year!!

I am the mother of a two-year-old looking to put her in nursery from September.

I live in the Edgware/Mill Hill area (HA8/NW7) and was wondering if any mums out there had any experience of good nurseries here?

In particular, I am looking at Whizz Kids or the Step-By-Step Montessori, does anyone have any good or bad experience of these places? Or indeed any other recommendations?

Thank you and best wishes for 2019 Smile

my DC was a whizkids in apex corner. Most if not all the children go on to private schools in the local area.

Good points
They wear a uniform
Gets them ready for school life
Weekly show and tell
Class lists. You get to mingle with other parents if the parents are humble and down to earth. Watch out for the alpha parents and tiger mums. You may not be good for them to socialise.

Bad points
Short hours. Not great for working parents. Ok if you have nanny or grandparents
I think Wednesday is or was half day
You have to bring packed lunch
Bad location in terms of parking.
Too many Muhindis!

Anything else, please pm me
