just got letter on way back from picking dd up from nursery, then phone call soon as i got home, dd has been picked from her class to jump ahead and insted of move up to reception in jan next year, they ahve said they think shes being held back and would thrive in reception, they said(as i know) she loves a challenge and working for something and she seems 'bored' with the level of education they can incorporate in nursery.
so she moveing up in sept..so all the other chldren who knew they were going up have been preparing with jolly phonics etc, getting used to gettting changed for p.e having a few sessions in recptiona dn staying for lunch, so now we've got some catching up to do!
am proud of her though
