ok, so 2 weeks ago dd had a chunk of hair missing and told me a boy called X had done it, i wasn't too worried as we all know 2 and 3 year olds get a little rough at times, dd is quite lkely to pull hair too.
Yesterday she came home though and was very very upset all day, i finally found out what happened after her shower last night. She said X had punched her in the tummy.
This morning she didn't want to go into playschool and was quite upset but changed her mind at the last minute so i brought her in but told her group leader about the 2 incidents and that she was upset. I made it clear i wasn't overly annoyed but suggested that they keep an eye on things just in case. SHe admitted the boy is a bit 'lively' and said they'd keep and eye on the situation
so an hour later i get a phone call from the manager waffling on about how he couldn't possibly have done anything to dd, that she's obviously just being over sensitive (about a chunk of hair missing ) and that there is absolutely no rough play between the kids (BS, they're all between 10 months and 4, how could there not be rough play?!)
she was uber condecending and annoying but i had to end the conversation as i was at the hospital and was called in for my appointment.
have to talk to her when i pick dd up at 2 but i'm fuming at her attitude!
