Image used of my child without permission

Hi everyone,

I'm really stressed about this and would appreciate some advice.

My child's pre school have used my child's image in their brochure without my permission. Not just without my permission but I specifically ticked the "I do not give permission" box on his application form. I ticked I do not give permission for every single question regarding where I will allow my child's image to be used. But I have come across the brochure and there is my child bang smack on it!!

Hi guys, so yes they checked my child's application form and apologised and said they had made a mistake and my child had now been removed from it. I'm so angry about it because of the damage it could have caused. They simply apologised and said it's all done now. But I don't feel they have taken it very seriously in the sense of this could have endangered my other child and us all as a family really!! Should I reply and ask about brochures that have been given out? Xx

Definitely check they've recalled ALL the brochures. Personally, I would take this further.

Yes definitely, they have a duty to safeguard your children. They have failed.

Yes and still contaxt the a ICO - they should have reported it themselves due to the potential risk of harm
