Hello,

Does anyone know where can be applied to get the additional 15 free hours childcare, just asked the nursery and they said that I have to apply to get these extra hours, but they couldn't advise where I can apply.

Can anyone advise please, both parents working full time, so we meet the criteria , but I have no idea where I can apply?

Your advice it will be really appreciated.

Thank you
Angi

You get a code to give to the nursery but it only lasts 3 months
So you will have to renew it before September

Thank you everybody for advice.

When you say code , what that means? Really sorry to ask , but for the 15hours that my daughter currently gets I did not fill any form up on internet or paper, the nursery did everything I guess, on the link provided above it is saying that from 31st August we can apply for extra 15hours, so I guess I have to just check again on the 31st August and see if there it will be a form available to fill.

Thank you again for the advice

The 15 hours is universal so all 3 year olds are entitled. Parents just need to provide proof of date of birth and the nursery claims it

For the additional funding, you need to use the site to check your eligibility, and the site will give you a code which you have to give to the nursery
The code will need renewing each term in order for you to claim the additional hours

Thank you very much, I have now got the eligibility code for 30 free hours starting in September-17 , and I have given this to the nursery.

Thank you again for all the advise, really appreciate.
