Is your dc going to miss preschool ?

My dd is leaving her preschool class this week and keeps saying she will miss her teacher and class. I can't remember caring much when I was her age but she's getting really sad about it.

Hello, yes my DS is very upset to be finishing his lovely pre school. He has had a wonderful year with a truly lovely teacher and teaching assistants, I also feel a little sad the year is ending!

Yes. DS finishes today. There have been lots of tears!

It's funny how I was sad when she went for the first time now I'm sad she's not there anymore I just hope she enjoys school as much as she has preschool

I know what you mean Mommy - I remember being so worried his first day and feeling guilty and now I feel sad it is coming to an end because he has just had so much fun! Luckily he starts reception at the same school next year so I'm hoping it will be just as good.

As an aside this is a school that has less of a good 'reputation' in our area, partly because of a near by outstanding primary ( with a tiny and wealthy catchment). It has reall shown to me how you do have to explore schools yourself and find the right one for your child - this school has turned out to be such a caring, true community school that I feel really lucky that my son is going there now!

Yes pp that's the same as my dd school it wasn't actually my first choice but was most practical to get to every day. Glad I chose it now
