DC2/CRB Checks For Committee Members - Has Anyone Scottish But Now Living in England Applied?

Our chair cocked up and gave us CRB forms originally - these were sent back and DC2 forms were asked to be filled in instead. This morning I have had a letter from Ofsted saying "part of rhe checking process requires that you obtain an enhanced CRB disclosure. To do this you must complete the enclosed CRB form. We may also carry out a suitable person interview with you. If we deceid to interview you a childcare inspector will contact you shortly to arrange this."

I can't get hold of any of the other committee members and the chairperson is at work - does this apply to everyone or is it because I was born in Scotland as Scotland have a different governing body to Ofsted?

Applies to everyone I think. One of our committee lived in America for a while and she had to be finger printed for her CRB!

Oh ok, thanks!

We all got this letter, but I don't know anyone who had the interview!

We've got a member of staff who returned from living in America for several years, and started working for us the following week...she wasn't fingerprinted for her CRB...went through the same checks as everyone else

I had the interview on monday,I am the chair and asked if the other new committee members would be interviewed and she said no.
PS.I was also born in SCotland but am 100% sure it has no bearing on whether you have an interview or not
