Hinchley Wood, Long Ditton, Thames Ditton Primary Schools

Hi All,

This is my first post on Mumsnet and know this is quite niche given how local it is but any help hugely appreciated.

My daughter will be starting school in September and we need to have applied for schools next month. The problem is Thames Ditton is probably out of the catchment area but maybe worth putting down as first choice. Hinchley Wood is our closest school and we have a good gut feeling but subsequently heard rumours of unhappy teachers and the school going downhill! Long Ditton is a cute infant school but that feeds into the junior school which isn't as good.

Any parent of any of those primary schools on Mumsnet and can give me any advice?

Have children at both Long Ditton schools and have been pleased with both so far. Please go and look at the junior school if you haven't before, don't judge any school by its OFSTED alone....
