Today, I was shown around ds1's school-to-be by....

... my first ever teacher. She started at that school the year I did, when she was a young woman, and I was 5. Now she is Deputy Head, the school, despite rough catchment area, is lovely, and I am so so pleased my sons will be going there.

It is the same school, so not too surprising. i had a lovely time at that school, and hope the boys do too.

My first teacher is at the school where dd will go (also my school)...but she left for years running a pub
