How much is the nursery education grant worth?

My ds attends a private day nursery. We will be eligable for the nursery education grant from January but I'm not sure how much it is. Does anyone know?

Can't remember exactly but it is around £8.50 a session. You get 5 2.5 hour sessions a week and it is paid for 38 weeks a year. Nurseries often charge you normal fees then give you a cheque for the amount when they receive it from the local authority.

Or they deduct it from their fees and you just pay the difference.Geogteach is right aboutthe amount
