New Pre School Nursery

I am considering setting up a new pre school nursery within the grounds of our local primary school, (it will be independantly run by myself and collegue) we would also use it for an afterschool club. Has anybody set one up from scratch and managed to receive any type of grant from the government or lottery funding. Any suggestions greatfully received, also any ideas on financial input. Many thanks

I know a school that has this arrangement but suspect that they helped fund it initially. It was done due to demand for extra nursery places

Starting preschool is great idea. To start a day firstly they need to check out the business license requirements for particular country, city or state. From local government they need to get appropriate permits, certifications and license.

You need to find out about 'sustainability' in the area.
If there is a greater need for places then there is a higher likelihood of you getting help with set-up costs.
Where there are plenty of other providers in the area, then it's not so likely.
