I'm moving to Oxford and I will putting my DD into full time nursery care. She currently is looked after by a combination of family and a regular mainstream nursery but when we move I would really like to put her in a Montessori nursery. There are plenty of them in oxford and I wondered if anyone could share their experience of a Montessori environment? What benefits did you see? I'd be particularly interested to hear from anyone who has more than one child where one child attended a Montessori nursery and the other didn't for direct comparison.
Obviously I have researched the theory and it all sounds great but is it as good in pratice? Anything I should be aware of before I commit?
