Looking for good iPad phonics app suggestions!

I am looking for suggestions for a really good phonics app for my 3 year old who loves using my iPad! He has been playing on the pocketphonics one, which is ok but he needs more help/practice putting sounds together to make a word that he is trying to read.

Thank-you!

Watching as I'd like some ideas too!

hairy letters is really good because it does the proper english phonics sounds.

I have hairy letters too

Thanks for your input! I also posted the same question in Primary Education and have had a few more responses - hairy letters, mr Thorne, a sounds-write initial code app and a few others. I am going to try them out and post my findings soon!

Mr Thorne is good but it is a step on from hairy letters.

I've just found Reading with Biff Chip and Kipper for £1.49. You get 8 books to read. The same 8 books in print are about £20.

We use Pocket Phonics

Jolly phonics have an app. I don't have it so can't vouch for it but Jolly Phonics is used in lots of schools and is a good scheme.
