we went to the pub for lunch today

What about "sticky" pictures? Make masks by putting newspaper and goo over balloons and let them dry - then they can paint when dry.

Baking/cooking/preparing fruit kebabs etc

wanky baskets?

Are there any good web sites with things you can download, like pictures to colour in or activites. I've used the CBeebies ine in the past, any others?

Like the balloon idea but what are wanky baskets?

I think the correct term is treasure baskets

There was athread on here recently about them, do a search, think FrannyandZooey is the expert!

BAsically a basket full of rubbish that little ones like to play with - pine cone, sponge, nail brush, whisk and other wank.

I see! Makes much more sense now - liking the sound of them (now I know hat they are ) Thanks for your help!
