Is 2 too young to consider 7+ places

Hi
Our daughter turned 2 in June and will be joining a local preprep in April 2014. We are looking into schools for 7+ entry i.e. CLSG (partly for relocation purposes). Is this too young to start any kind of preparation? Our daughter is very inquisitive and seems to have a very good memory. I try my best to keep her busy with general playgroups, language clubs and physical activities, but we are not sure how to nurture her academic abilities more, do we start teaching her specific things that will put her in a good position to sit 7+ or is it just too early to tell?

Confused! HELP!

Thanks

It is far far far too early. She is 2! Mid year 1 is ample time to prepare her.

Sorry, I meant mid year 1, a year before the exams is ample time to prepare her.
