It's a paperwork position so planning and record keeping etc. I only have a level 2 and no experience so I really need to prove myself as they said they wanted experience. I'm am just wondering what I should be revising I am not familiar with the new EYFS but hope to do a course. I am aware of the 2 year old progress check.

You can look at the new EYFS online; if I were interviewing you for a position, I would want you to know the changes and have a good grasp of it.

You must also be very hit on safeguarding.

If it is a paperwork position, I would want you to be aware of which policies and procedures a nursery should have, how to write them, who to contact for assistance (within your local council; ensure you
Know the name of the person responsible for paperwork etc there)

You should also be aware of the different types of funding (again, a accessible online), such as the two and three year old funding, and how to apply for it, within the timescales and deadlines they have.

I'd also need you computer literate.

Hope this helps a little bit?

Yes ok will look into that more. Eek so much to know and read. It's difficult as we only touched on the old EYFs in our course which is why I really want to do the level 3!!!
