Which nursery in west end of Glasgow?

Hi all!

I am looking for a government funding nursery for my 3 year old and 2 year old in the West end of Glasgow. I am not sure which nurserys are funded and what are academically good too.

Currently my 3 year old goes to Festival park nursery and is comfortable but travelling everyday from anniesland is not feasible.

I need a nursery perhaps in a school where both sisters go to nursery and when my eldest starts primary school they can both be in the same building.

Any ideas?

Take a look at the Glasgow City Council website - (going to school section I think) it lists all the council nurseries and the partnership ones i.e.all the ones that you can get funding for.

I don't know Glasgow, but a good friends little boy is at Glasgow academy nursery and they are really pleased with it. I presume he gets the pre school grant my daughter receives at her Edinburgh equivalent- £600 a term.
