Can you recommend a pre-school magazine?

I'm looking for a gift subscription for DS2, age 2.5. DS1 used to have Cbeebies magazine but it seems to be even more expensive (£3 a week!) and I hate all the plastic tat. He now at 6 has NG kids which is monthly.
I'm looking for a monthly or fortnightly magazine aimed at 2-4yr olds, preferably with stickers but without endlessly repeated plastic rubbish on the front. Any ideas?

Okido (published quarterly)
Ladybug and Click are published in the US by the cricket group but they will post to the UK.
Publisher's age guide for all the above is 3+.
No plastic tat so far, and DS seemed to like them.
