...and he loved it, feel a bit sad though that that is now all of my little bunnies in education. I know I still have 2 years before he starts school, but he is my baby still. Today I had the older two home for an inset day, Monday I'll be home alone and on mumsnet and sorting out the house after nearly 8 years of benign neglect!

Anyone else's DC started preschool today?

same here exactly! my dc3 starts tomorrow at playgroup, other two at school and as the house looks like nothing on this earth after 7 years of neglect I will also be having the biggest sort out and clean!! It will be weird dropping dc3 off and leaving her (maybe not the first session) as she's only just 2 but just that one morning a week might mean I can finally tackle jobs that have literally been on the back burner since I was pregnant with dc1!!

Ds is nearly 3 and of course his party planing is more important than cleaning but he took it all in his stride, felt harder leaving him than the others as before I've always had a baby to distract him. Feel totally confident in the setting but found it hard not to cry, will be a niagra falls when he starts primary/secondary/leaves home!
