Access to the curriculum (on a one to one basis) in your child's home environment - any negatives/positives?

The curriculum is supposed to give guidance to support you so you know how and what children are learning at different stages. So the positives would be that it lets you know the types of things that are important at this age. The negatives would be if you viewed the curriculum as some type of checklist. It's guidance, so that you can offer a broad and balanced experience through play.

Hope I understood your question properly :)
