Hi to all Mummies in my area!

I am looking for a montessori for my son aged 2, with a view to trying for the local independent boys prep schools for the 3+ (ie St Johns, Northwood Prep, St Martins).

Can anyone let me know which would give us the best chance of success for the 3+ and how you found you own personal experiences with these nurseries.

I think recommendations are always best to go on, I am sure the open mornings will always give you the 'best' of what is offered, but it would be great to find out how things really were...

Hi Julie999, We were in the same situation a year ago and decided to go with Woodlodge for our ds as we were impressed with the head teacher.he will be going for assessment in Sept

I don't know much about local Montessoris, sadly, but DS was at Mount Vernon nursery (Bright Horizons) and I think about 8-10 boys have gone to one or other of these preps last Sept. Along with several girls to St Helens and Northwood Coll. I have heard similar about children at Riverside (Teddies, but owned by same group).
