setting up a playgroup for the community, help and advice needed

Hi everyone, a group of us are in the beginning stages of setting up a playgroup for our community and we need some help on getting things moving. Any advice from people who have already done this would be brilliant :o)
We need help on getting insurance?
Safenetwork and crb checks?

It's going to be a toddler group where patents bring there little ones. There's very lite for the parents and children in our community anymore and we want to set this up so patents can meet up and have a good natter with other parents and the kids have a fin exploring, playing and mixing with other kids.
I'll check that out for insurance thanx x
