How many of you favour Alfie Kohn's philosophy of education?

I am a grandmother and am now noticing how young mums are doing things in the present time. I am keen to keep up with new ways. I have noticed that education in schools is increasingly influenced by Alfie Kohns theories about education and I am curious about how many mums are enrolled into this way of thinking.

My parenting has certainly been very influenced by Alfie Kohn.

I don't think schools have been influenced by him yet - unfortunately :)

You'll probably find more of them on the Home Education board.
