Madness on nursery admissions

Might not work if you don't subscribe - gist is a mother is suing a nursery school because by not advancing her four-year-old enough she - the four-year-old - will be denied admission to an Ivy League university in 15 years' time... Hmm

Believe it or not, some countries other than the UK (I think it exists heavily there too btw) have a great pressure at an early age to establish a kind of academic kudos - the perfect CV of school attendance, grades, extra-curricular accomplishments. Its sad, but its true.

This situation you note is just a by-product of that.

Yes, but it's just so stoooopid. Actually nobody in the Ivy League even cares.
