I am sorry if this has been asked 100 + times. Do teachers like/want gifts ... home crafts, shop bought, during the year?

or would they rather we didn't bother?

DS was going to make a pencil holder tin thing with a small chocolate rabbit for each teacher, but I am wondering wether to give it or just do it and let him keep it.

do you mean for xmas or generally? In my kids school they often buy shop bought things for xmas and end of year but not throughout? The school itself prefers a charity donation but as everyone else buys something i tend to follow the majority!

Easter, Christmas and end of year/graduation.

Love it! Still have all my bits made for me, my 'fave' is a gold painted pencil holder with brightly coloured feathers sticking out. Always makes me smile, not to mention a little person took the time and effort to make something for someone else. Lovely.
